UNC-Wilmington defeats Campbellsville 72-55
WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Ben Eblen scored 13 points as North Carolina-Wilmington defeated Campbellsville 72-55 on Tuesday night.
Eblen was 6 of 12 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds with four assists and a pair of steals. Cedric Williams had a game-high 15 points for the Seahawks (4-4) with six rebounds and three blocks.
Jordan Meyers hit a 3-pointer early in the first period to give Campbellsville its only lead of the game. That lead was erased by a Williams free throw three minutes later and the Seahawks -- who led 38-22 at the break -- would never look back.
Meyers led the Tigers with 13 points and five rebounds. Elliot Young came in from the bench to put up 10 points in the final two minutes, including two 3-pointers and a jump shot at the buzzer. Campbellsville turned the ball over 15 times during the contest.
