DAYTON, Ohio -- Wright State had eight players score at least seven points Thursday night, riding a balanced attack to a 70-43 rout of Eastern Illinois.
Chrishawn Hopkins and Miles Dixon led Wright State (6-7) with nine points apiece as the Raiders shot 54.5 percent from the field and snapped a four-game losing streak. Reggie Arceneaux and Cole Darling each added eight points while four players finished with seven for Wright State.
The Raiders shot 7 for 13 from beyond the arc and were 15 for 18 on free throws.
Down 21-19 in the first half, Wright State scored 10 straight points and never trailed again. Leading by 12 midway through the second half, the Raiders went on an 18-2 run to extend their lead to 65-37.
Sherman Blanford had 15 points for Eastern Illinois, which dropped its fifth straight game.
