Fant leads Western Kentucky over Brescia 103-65
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- George Fant scored 23 points with seven rebounds and three assists to lead Western Kentucky to a 103-65 victory over Brescia Saturday night.
Western Kentucky (8-4) won its third straight and is 7-0 at home. Fant scored 19 points in the first half as the Hilltoppers jumped to a 45-29 halftime lead and never trailed against Brescia of the NAIA.
T.J. Price and Trency Jackson each scored 19 points for WKU. Price was 7 of 9 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers. Price has made at least one 3-pointer in 26-straight games. Jackson was 6 of 10 from the floor, including two 3-pointers. All 14 players scored for the Hilltoppers.
Jermain Langley scored 16 points, and Trey Howard added 10 to lead Brescia. Decarlos Collier made a layup to help the Bearcats tie the game at 10. The Hilltoppers answered with a 14-2 run.
