Northern Kentucky rolls Stetson 96-58
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -- Jordan Jackson finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists as Northern Kentucky rolled past Stetson for a 96-58 win Thursday night.
Cole Murray scored 17, Jalen Billups and Tyler White 14 apiece and Dean Danos added 10 points for Northern Kentucky (9-20, 5-12 Atlantic Sun).
The 96 points was a season-high for the Norse, and the 38-point margin of victory was their biggest since moving to Div. I prior to the 2012-13 season.
After Kyle Sikora's layup about 2 1/2 minutes into the game pulled Stetson within one, NKU used a 13-2 spurt to open up a 20-8 lead. The Hatters later went more than 7 minutes without a field goal during a 20-2 Norse run that resulted in a 33-point advantage with 2:35 left in the first half.
Hunter Miller paced Stetson (7-22, 5-12) with 11 points.
NKU shot 57.4 percent overall and 54.2 percent from deep.
