Andrews lifts Stetson by Jacksonville 73-68
DELAND, Fla. -- Raymone Andrews scored 19 points and Brian Pegg had 14 points and 14 rebounds as Stetson held on to defeat Jacksonville 73-68 Saturday.
Willie Green added 13 points for the Hatters (7-17, 5-7 Atlantic Sun), who squandered most of a 24-point lead in the second half.
J.R. Holder came off the bench to score a career-high 18 points for the Dolphins (9-15, 5-8). RJ Slawson had 11 points and 12 rebounds and Javon Dawson had 12 points.
Stetson had a 41-24 lead at the half and quickly pushed that to 51-27 before Holder ignited a comeback. He had 10 points in a 15-0 run, starting and ending the surge with 3-pointers. Holder picked up the slack for Jacksonville's leading scorers. Jarvis Haywood, who averages 17.1 points, had nine and Keith McDougald, who averages 13.5, had four. Both were limited to one field goal.
