St. Francis (PA) beats Fairleigh Dickinson 83-75
LORETTO, Penn. -- Ben Millaud-Meunier scored 22 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead St. Francis (Pa.) to an 83-75 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday.
St. Francis (6-15, 4-4 Northeast Conference) led the entire game, taking a 47-31 advantage into the break, but had to hold off a Fairleigh Dickinson rally late in the second half that shaved the gap to as few as six points in the final minutes.
Stephon Whyatt contributed 15 points, including a 3-pointer midway through the second half that gave the Red Flash their biggest lead of the game at 59-37. Ronnie Drinnon had 11 rebounds for SFU, which shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from long range.
Fairleigh Dickinson (8-14, 4-4) outscored SFU 44-36 in the second half.
Sidney Sanders Jr. led the Knights with 30 points and eight assists, while Xavier Harris had 13 points, Matt MacDonald 11 and Mustafaa Jones 10.
