Brown leads St. Francis (Pa) over CCSU 69-63
LORETTO, Pa. -- Earl Brown scored 25 points with 10 rebounds and four assists to lead St. Francis (Pa.) for its first back-to-back wins of the season with a 69-63 victory over Central Connecticut State Thursday night.
Ronnie Drinnon and Ben Millaud-Meunier both added 12 points for St. Francis (5-15, 3-4 Northeast Conference). Brown, Drinnon, and Milaud-Meunier each are averaging more than 10 points per game. Brown earns his second double-double, and the Red Flash have won two straight to snap a three-game conference losing skid.
Faronte Drakeford scored 21 points on 10-for-16 shooting and had eight rebounds to lead Central Connecticut State (5-15, 1-6), which has lost seven of its previous eight games. Matt Mobley added 14 points, including two 3-pointers. The Blue Devils shot 27 of 58 from the field and made four of their 13 3-point attempts.
