EMMITSBURG, Md. -- Jeremiah Worthem scored 21 points to lead Robert Morris past Mount St. Mary's 77-69 on Saturday.
Leading 66-65 with less than three minutes to play, Robert Morris (9-10, 4-0 Northeast Conference) closed the game by hitting 11 of 12 free throws. The Colonials shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line for the game.
Worthem sunk all six of his free throws and went 7 of 11 from the field. Lucky Jones added 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Robert Morris.
After trailing at halftime the Colonials went on a 14-3 run early in the second half to take a 43-40 lead.
Robert Morris has now won four straight after a stretch of just two wins in 10 games.
Rashad Whack led Mount St. Mary's (6-11, 2-2) with 22 points.
