Princeton rolls past Fairleigh Dickinson 77-55
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Spencer Weisz scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Princeton rolled over Fairleigh Dickinson 77-55 on Saturday night.
Denton Koon had a team-high 18 points with six rebounds, three assists and a steal. Both Will Barrett and Ben Hazel contributed 11 points.
Princeton jumped to an early first-half lead until the Knights' Sidney Sanders Jr. hit a jumper at 10:35 to tie the score at 15. The lead traded hands six times before the Tigers (6-1) would emerge with a 36-28 halftime lead.
Princeton -- led by Koon with a 3-pointer plus eight in the paint -- continued the push after the break, outscoring Fairleigh Dickinson 21-10 in the first 10 minutes of the second half to build a commanding 57-38 lead.
The win is the fifth straight for Princeton.
Sanders Jr. led the Knights (3-7) with a game-high 23 points.
