SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Joel Wright scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Texas State defeated San Jose State 90-67 on Saturday night.
Texas State (10-21, 5-13 Western Athletic) also got 15 points from Matt Staff and 12 points from Deonte' Jones, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Chris Cunningham led San Jose State (9-19, 3-14) with 17 points and seven rebounds.
David Andoh scored 12 points and LaVanne Pennington scored 10.
