JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Torrey Craig scored 26 points and Ty Greene added 17 to lead South Carolina-Upstate to an 88-56 victory over East Tennessee State on Friday night in an Atlantic Sun Conference game.
Craig hit three 3-pointers and Greene two in the opening 5 minutes, when the Spartans (15-16, 9-9) raced to a 17-5 advantage.
They led 39-25 at halftime, then started the second half by outscoring the Buccaneers (10-21, 8-10) 36-9 to increase their margin to 75-34 with 8:42 to play.
The 32-point final margin represented ETSU's worst conference defeat since joining the league in the 2005-06 season.
Craig also had nine rebounds and Babatunde Olumuyiwa eight for the Spartans, who had a 42-29 advantage on the boards.
Hunter Harris scored 13 points for ETSU, and senior Jarvis Jones, the Buccaneers' leading scorer at 16.2 points per game, had 12 in his final home game.
