DES MOINES, Iowa -- Ben Simons scored 16 points and Drake held Green Bay to just 19 second-half points on the way to a 71-54 victory in a Bracketbusters game on Saturday night.
Drake (13-15) also got 15 points and 10 rebounds from Seth VanDeest, 14 points from Chris Hines and 10 points from Ken Babineaux.
Green Bay (15-13) got 12 points apiece from Keifer Sykes and Brennan Cougill. Sykes also had three steals.
Drake hit 9 of 21 attempts from 3-point range, including four from Hines.
