Yale Bulldogs @ Princeton Tigers
Yale 69, Princeton 65
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Javier Duren scored 13 points and Yale snapped Princeton's six-game winning streak in a 69-65 victory on Saturday.
Austin Morgan and Sam Martin each scored 11 points for the Bulldogs (9-14, 3-3 Ivy League), who have won two consecutive games.
Princeton (11-8, 4-1) also had its 21-game home Ivy League winning streak snapped. It was the program's longest since winning 26 in a row from 1996-99.
Yale went into halftime with a 34-26 lead, but the Tigers were able to keep the game close in the second half. A 3-pointer by Princeton's Will Barrett tied the game at 53-all with 6:55 left in the game.
Nick Victor put the Bulldogs ahead by two points, 55-53, after he made two free throws with 6:20 remaining. After Victor's free throws, Yale did not trail the rest of the way -- even though Princeton cut the deficit to one point on two occasions.
