STOCKTON, Calif. -- Lorenzo McCloud scored 17 points, had three assists and three steals to lead Pacific in a 63-58 victory over UC Riverside on Thursday night.
Pacific (11-8, 5-2 Big West) took a 31-24 lead at halftime and led by as many as 15 in the second half. The Highlanders never led in the contest.
Travis Fulton, Khalil Kelley and Sama Taku scored nine points apiece for Pacific, which shot 42.9 percent from the field and were 15 of 18 from the free-throw line.
UC Riverside (5-14, 2-5) out-rebounded the Tigers 31-20 but committed 18 turnovers. The Highlanders shot 52.4 percent from the floor in the game but were 13 of 18 in the second half for a 72.2 percent mark.
Chris Patton led UC Riverside with 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Taylor Johns chipped in with 12.
