BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Javon McCrae had 21 points and 14 rebounds and made the go-ahead layup as Buffalo rallied past Bowling Green 68-65 Saturday night to win its first Mid-American Conference game and snap a four-game losing streak.
The Bulls (6-12, 1-3) trailed 15-3 early and 33-25 at intermission, but made it a close contest by opening the second half with a 10-2 run to tie it.
The Falcons regained the momentum to build a 53-44 lead, but Buffalo used another spurt to knot it again.
After the lead went back and forth, McCrae followed his layup with 31 seconds left with two free throws, making it 67-63.
