Texas-Pan American 95, Fisher College 49

EDINBURG, Texas -- Justin Leathers and Jamal Dantzler scored 15 points apiece and Texas Pan-American beat Fisher College 95-49 Saturday night.

Leathers was 6 of 6 from the field. Dantzler was 3 of 5 from 3-point range.

Brandon Provost had 12 points and Hurley Johnson had 11. Josh Cleveland had a team-high 11 rebounds, and DeMarko Nash has eight assists for Texas Pan-American (9-10, 1-0 Great West).

The Broncs led 41-15 at halftime and shot 54 percent from the field for the game. Fisher shot 34 percent.

Ryan McCorkle had 10 points for Fisher (6-13), a NAIA school. Kyle Murphy and Dana Hines had four rebounds apiece.

This was the first-ever meeting on the basketball court for the schools.
