LAS VEGAS -- Anthony Bennett had a season-high 28 points along with 10 rebounds to lead UNLV over Cal State Bakersfield 84-63 on Saturday night.
Bennett, who had 21 first-half points, was 10 of 13 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range.
Bryce Dejean-Jones added 12 points and six assists and Quintrell Thomas had 10 points for the Rebels (13-2), who shot 51 percent from the field.
Stephon Carter led the Roadrunners (6-12) with 16 points, six rebounds and four steals. Javante Maynor added 14 points, and Brandon Jones and Las Vegas native Adam Young had 12 points each for Cal State Bakersfield, which was outrebounded 43-30.
The Rebels' Mike Moser did not play due to a continuing elbow injury.
