Parks, who was 8 of 10 from the field, had a team-high eight rebounds. Adam Link had 16 points. Reserve forward Don McAvoy III scored 13 points. Remy Roberts-Burnett added 10. Ceola Clark III had six assists.
Western Illinois (9-3, 3-0), which led 31-27 at halftime, got 17 points from its bench. The Leathernecks shot 62.5 percent from the field for the game, while Oakland (5-9, 0-1) shot 41.8 percent.
Ryan Bass led Oakland with 18 points. Corey Petros had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Travis Bader had 15 points. Duke Mondy had seven assists and six steals.
