NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Lamont Jones scored 24 points and David Laury had 20 points and seven rebounds to lead Iona to a 100-72 victory over Norfolk State on Sunday.
Sean Armand had 12 points and seven rebounds, Tavon Sledge chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds, and Taaj Ridley had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Gaels (6-5), who beat Norfolk State 47-26 on the boards.
Malcolm Hawkins' 15 points led Norfolk State (6-8), Rashid Gaston had 13 and Zieyik Estime 12.
The Gaels shot 50.7 percent from the field (34 of 67) to the Spartans' 42.6 percent (26 of 61). Iona was 22 of 27 from the foul line while Norfolk State was 8 of 12.
The Gaels led 45-31 at the break, and the Spartans never got closer than 12 points in the second half.
Iona has won all three games in the series.
