BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Dave Corley scored 19 points and grabbed eight boards to lead Stony Brook past St. Francis (N.Y.) 77-61 Tuesday night.
Anthony Jackson chipped in with 15 points and Jameel Warney added 13 points to go along with nine rebounds to help Stony Brook (7-2) win its third game in a row.
Stony Brook shot the ball well in the first half to build a big early lead. The Seawolves shot 60 percent (15 for 25) in the first half compared to St Francis' 33.3 percent (10 for 33). Stony Brook led at halftime 40-24.
The Terriers (2-6) never made it a contest in the second half as Stony Brook rode its early lead to victory.
Stony Brook outscored St. Francis in the paint by eight points and held a 22-8 edge in bench points.
Jalen Cannon and Kevin Douglas scored 14 points apiece to lead St. Francis.
