PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Jourdan DeMuynck scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Prairie View beat undefeated Houston 81-80 on Wednesday night.
DeMuynck was 10 of 17 from the field.
Carl Blair scored 15. Montreal Scott added 10. Josh Eleby had seven rebounds.
Prairie View (4-5) led 44-39 at the half and shot 48.5 percent from the field for the game.
Houston shot 49 percent from the field for the game.
TaShawn Thomas scored 23 points and made 11 rebounds. Danuel House added 20, Joseph Young 15 and Jherrod Stiggers 12 for the Cougars (5-1).
Prairie View will play Houston again on Dec. 28.
