GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Colin Reddick scored 17 points and pulled down a game-high eight rebounds as Furman defeated Division II Brevard 76-53 Monday.
Reddick, who had 13 points in Furman's loss to Clemson on Friday, was 7 of 9 from the field and dished out a team-high four assists.
Furman (2-2) jumped out to an early 9-2 lead before Brevard (0-4) clawed back to take a 12-11 lead behind a Manzey Miller 3-pointer. But it was the last time Brevard would lead as Furman used a 15-3 run to take a 26-11 lead with 8:26 left in the first half.
Brevard cut the deficit to 30-24 at the 3:30 mark but Furman closed out the half with nine consecutive points to go into intermission ahead 39-24.
Reddick assisted a Bryant Irwin 3-pointer to open the second half, pushing Furman's lead to 18, 42-24.
Manzy led Brevard with 13 while Irwin had 15 for Furman.
