DAYTON, Ohio -- JT Yoho scored 15 points and Miles Dixon had 14 off the bench as Wright State defeated North Carolina A&T 56-44 on Friday night.
The Raiders, who are 3-0 for the first time since starting 4-0 during the 2002-03 season, hit five 3-pointers in the first 11:04 to lead 24-12.
Wright State shot 50 percent (11 of 22) in the first half, compared to 29.2 percent for the Aggies (7 of 24) to lead 29-20 at the break.
North Carolina A&T got within five twice early in the second half, but the Raiders pulled away with a 17-8 run as Dixon scored six points and Yoho five.
Neither team shot well from long range, with the Aggies 4 of 22 and the Raiders 7 of 22.
Austin Witter and Adrian Powell had 10 points apiece and Witter also grabbed nine rebounds as North Carolina A&T (1-2) outrebounded Wright State 35-28.
