NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Kevin Broussard scored 23 points and Jereal Scott added 18 as Stephen F. Austin defeated Wiley College 72-66 on Wednesday night.

Jonathan King added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Lumberjacks (3-2).

Freddie Haynes scored 14 points, Richard Simon 13, Dominic Jones 12 and Kenny LaGuerre 10 for Wiley, a NAIA school in Marshall, Texas, that classified the game as an exhibition. The Wildcats' record remained 3-3.

Stephen F. Austin led by 21 in the second half, but Wiley rallied to within 70-61 after LaGuerre's jumper with 2:34 remaining. But the Lumberjacks bled time off the clock and added two free throws, and Haynes' 3-pointer with 32 seconds left completed the scoring.
