Princeton 52, Dartmouth 49

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- Scott Greenman scored 13 of his 16 points

in the second half, including four free throws in the final 11.1

seconds, to help Princeton hold off Dartmouth 52-49 on Saturday

night.

The Tigers (7-12, 5-1 Ivy League) won their fourth in a row

despite managing just one field goal in the final 9:50 of the first

half and one field goal in the last 10 minutes of the second.

Luke Owings also had 16 points for Princeton.

Dartmouth (3-18, 1-7) was led by Mike Lang with 13 points and

Cal Arnold with nine, but lost for the ninth time in its last 10

games.

Princeton matched its largest lead of the night when Edwin

Buffmire hit a 3-pointer to make it 41-31 with 10:04 remaining.

After Dartmouth pulled within 46-45 with 13 seconds left,

Greenman hit a pair of free throws. The Big Green pulled within one

again before Owings hit another pair of foul shots with 1.9 seconds

left.

Dartmouth missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
