Lipscomb 73, Nicholls State 71

WESTWEGO, La. (AP) -- Brian Fisk scored 22 points -- including a

jumper with 2.4 seconds remaining in the game that proved to be the

game-winning basket -- to lead Lipscomb to a 73-71 victory over

Nicholls State Monday night.

Shaun Durant and Jason Guyette added 13 points each for the

Bisons (7-4). Durant also grabbed nine rebounds. Eddie Ard finished

with 11 points.

Michael Czepil led the Colonels (2-7) with 16 points. Stefan

Blaszczynski added 12 and Kevin Goffney had 10. Goffney also pulled

down seven rebounds.
