Whittle added a career-high 26 to give Lamar a 99-58 win over
Prairie View on Saturday night.
Lamar (4-4) led 35-26 at the half. Thomas Fairley scored 15
points for Lamar.
Prairie View (1-6) shot 37.9 percent for the game, led by
Phillip Scott's 13 points. Jeremy Wiley added 11.
Prairie View had 11 points of off turnovers, compared to 32 for
Lamar, which shot a season-high 60 percent from the field.
