BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- Jose Olivero scored 18 points to lead

Lehigh to a 58-54 victory over Stony Brook on Tuesday.

Kyle Neptune added 12 points for Lehigh (2-3. Mike Popoko led

all scorers with 23 points for Stony Brook (0-2) while Hendrik

Feist scored 13 points and Antwan Hardy added 11.

Stony Brook tied the game 22-22 with 3:09 left in the first

half, but Bryan White had a fastbreak dunk followed by two free

throws to put Lehigh up by seven before Hardy hit a 3-pointer to

make it 29-25 at the half.

Stony Brook managed to tie the score several times in the second

half, the last time 49-49 with less than three minutes remaining.

But a 3-pointer by Olivero and free throws by Neptune, Olivero and

Matt Szalachowski helped Lehigh seal the win.
