Pickerington North-Dec. 2010: Fundamental guard who's got the stroke and range to be a threat anytime on the catch. While she's a legitimate shooter she still needs to add more depth to her skill set to be more versatile and well rounded. Her skills are there but she seems to settle or look just for the perimeter opportunities. (Lewis)
TOC Dec. 08 II: Chaminade-Julienne (Dayton, Ohio) is another program with a history of success and a long list of talented players. Samarie Walker may be the player everyone is talking about these days but in Thursday's upset of Long Beach Poly another young star emerged. Five-foot-seven guard Emily Michael exhibited a text book fundamental game that's going to keep Coach Mark Greenberg happy for several years to come. The freshman standout has the stroke and range to keep defenders honest and knows where to find her looks. She has the ability to read the floor which creates opportunities for both herself and her teammates and allows her to utilize her exceptional court instincts. At the other end of the floor she defends aggressively on-ball and has great awareness and vision on the weak side. Playing with the confidence of a more experienced player, Michael is an ideal complement for Walker's dynamic style and gives the Eagles another threat to look to come crunch time.
TOC Dec. 08 I: Talented young guard with skills and maturity in her game. Has the stroke and range to keep almost any defense honest. Plays with impressive court instincts for her age. She's also smart on the defensive and does a solid job on the ball.
