USJN Cincy-July 09: The Michigan Crossover may well have had one of the quickest teams in Cincinnati. Detroit Pershing point guard Senee Shearer was one of several guards whose play seemed to almost be a blur at times. Standing 5-7 with a slight built, Shearer is deceptively strong and the left-hander isn't hesitant to take a hit. She penetrates off impressive crossover dribbles and often gets to the rim before opposing defenses can rotate. Her pull up will have to become more reliable as she faces quicker and more effective defenses, but the tools are in place. Defensively, she showed great anticipation and a willingness to dig in as an on-ball defender.
