Music City-July 10: This young guard has the makeup to be another in a long list of high caliber California guards. She listed at 5-9, but plays much bigger due to her long arms. Cook-Taylor has nice one-on-one skills and a solid understanding of the game. Her pull-up jump shot and mid-range game are her go-to scoring devices. She has developed a nice Euro-Step through move to avoid defenders when the penetration to the basket was called upon. Good leaping ability and athleticism should make Cook-Taylor a solid defensive contributor as well. (Powell)
