Summer 08: Six-foot-two Jasmine Watson out of Elkhart, Ind., joined the Family in July and added a new inside look to Kevin and Katrina Merriweather's program. She is a lean, athletic forward who is active in the paint and aggressively posts up looking for the ball. Her ability to finish is aided by her quickness to get by defenders. When she receives the ball, she attacks the rim and gets to the line regularly. Her ballhandling skills allow her to drive from the elbows and the short corners. At this point her perimeter shooting range is 10 feet and in, but she has the form to extend it. Defensively, she is quick in help-side rotations and willing to put a body on opposing post players.
