Fantasy baseball lineup advice for Wednesday: Give Drohan benefit of the doubt?

STARTING PITCHERS FOR WEDNESDAY

Pitchers are ranked in order of their Forecaster/Daily Notes projected fantasy points (FPTS), using ESPN's standard scoring system (2 points per win, minus-2 per loss, 3 per inning, 1 per K, minus-1 apiece per hit or walk allowed, minus-2 per earned run allowed).

T: The pitcher's handedness. OPP: Opposing team. RST%: The pitcher's roster percentage in ESPN leagues. W%: The individual starting pitcher's win probability using ESPN projections. IP: Projected innings pitched. H+BB: Projected hits plus walks allowed. ER: Projected earned runs allowed. K: Projected strikeouts.

If a team is planning on using an "opener" to start their game, but will rely on a "bulk pitcher" to follow him on the mound after 1-2 innings, the bulk pitcher is listed and indicated with an asterisk.

Pitchers to stream on Wednesday

Shane Drohan has tossed at least six innings in four straight outings, though last time out he yielded five earned runs to the Colorado Rockies after posting three straight quality starts. He hasn't been dominant, with 23 strikeouts over his last 24 1/3 frames, but his control and command are solid, having permitted only five walks and one homer over that span. Next up is a road affair in Oracle Park against the San Francisco Giants and a lineup with the fifth-lowest wOBA in the league facing lefties.
Jared Jones has posted quality starts in two of his past three outings. The Pittsburgh Pirates managed Jones' pitch counts over the first half, but it appears they'll lengthen the leash down the stretch. Jones is yet to issue more than two free passes in an outing and has given up an acceptable six homers in 46 frames. On tap is a home matchup with the Arizona Diamondbacks, whose lineup sports the lowest wOBA in the league facing right-handed pitching.
Ian Seymour stumbled out of the break, but he rebounded with a quality start in his last effort, fanning seven while allowing just one walk and one earned run against the Toronto Blue Jays. The lefty is set to take the hill in Tropicana Field against the Texas Rangers, who will be without SS Corey Seager and 3B Josh Jung.

Hitters to stream on Wednesday

A twin bill in Queens means several hitters have a chance to pull double duty. New York Mets hitters will face Atlanta Braves ace Chris Sale, so the Braves batters have the edge. Austin Riley and Mauricio Dubon have the best chance to play in both ends of the doubleheader for Atlanta. Facing Sale will be challenging, but the Mets' A.J. Ewing, Carson Benge and Jorge Polanco merit streaming consideration.
The Minnesota Twins average the second-highest runs per game in the American League, good for eighth overall in MLB. They're in a good spot to build on that, facing Randy Dobnak and the Kansas City Royals at home. Dobnak's July ERA is a tidy 1.42, but his WHIP is 1.37 and he has punched out only 10 while walking nine in 19 frames. Despite the Twins' production, only Byron Buxton is rostered in more than 45% of ESPN leagues. Trevor Larnach, Ryan Jeffers, Kody Clemens, Josh Bell and Royce Lewis are the top options against a pitcher whose good luck is due to run out.
