Max Verstappen has admitted it will be "quite embarrassing" if he is not the fastest go-karter on track when he races against 100 rival competitors at an event at Silverstone on Wednesday.
The Red Bull driver will start from the back of the 101-kart grid with the aim of passing all the other competitors in the space of 30 laps.
The 100 come from around the world -- including Red Bull athletes, content creators, journalists and fans -- and will all drive identical karts to make the competition fair.
Once the competitors have been overtaken by Verstappen, they will be eliminated from the competition and return to the pits.
Although Verstappen said he had not seen a full list of his rivals for Wednesday's event, the four-time F1 champion is confident he will come out on top.
"A hundred is a lot, you know, but I think how they've set up the track from what they've shown me, I think it will be good," Verstappen told ESPN. "But it's still going to be hectic, for sure."
Asked if he had any tactics of how to approach the race, he added: "I think I first need to understand and see the level between drivers.
"I also don't like to overthink the situation. I just need to go with the flow and try to make the best of it.
"I'm hoping that with my background, I should be faster than most. I hope! I mean, it would be quite embarrassing if they're faster than me!"

Verstappen said he had not driven a "proper go-kart" since 2016 and prefers to spend his free time away from F1 pursuing his goals in GT cars, such as his attempt to win the Nurburgring 24 Hours earlier this year.
"I don't miss it," he said of karting. "Also with go-karting, because I've done it from when I was four years old until like 15, to go back now, your ribs are hurting.
"It's very different in that sense. You can get arm pump and stuff in a shifter [kart], and I just feel like I enjoy more just being on a big track with a GT car."
