Formula 1's Cadillac has appointed Marcin Budkowski as its new team principal, replacing Graeme Lowdon in the middle of the team's debut season.
Budkowski has more than two decades of experience in F1 and previously had senior roles with Prost, Ferrari, McLaren, the FIA and Renault/Alpine.
The 49-year-old Polish engineer has been brought in to "strengthen the leadership team" in the American-based organisation.
"Marcin's appointment marks another important step in the continued evolution of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team," said Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss.
"From the beginning, our goal has not been simply to participate in Formula 1, but to build a next-generation team capable of competing at the very front.
"As we enter this new era for the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, Marcin brings exceptional F1 experience, technical expertise and strategic leadership that will strengthen our organization and help us develop the winning mindset, tools and processes required for long-term success."
Lowdon was part of the team's F1 project from the very beginning and was appointed in December 2024.
"We're grateful to Graeme Lowdon for his leadership and the role he played in forming the Cadillac Formula 1 Team from the ground up," Towriss said.
"His contributions helped establish a strong foundation in our build-up phase, and we thank him for his commitment and wish him well."

Cadillac currently use a Ferrari power unit, but General Motors are set to introduce a custom-built in-house power unit at the start of 2029.
It is yet to score any points so far this season with drivers Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas at the bottom of the drivers' championship standings.
Budkowski's first race in charge will be at the Dutch Grand Prix on Aug. 21-23.
