Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen is taking on his next challenge -- which could be his most entertaining yet.
The Dutchman is competing in a new and exclusive event, Max vs 100, where he will be taking on 100 drivers in the world's biggest go-kart race on Sept. 16 live on Disney+.
The catch? He will be starting from the back of the grid set with the task of overtaking every single driver over.

When is Max vs 100?
Max vs 100 is taking place on Sept. 16 in the U.K.
The race itself will start at 6 p.m., with the live stream beginning one hour before.
Where is it taking place?
The event will be at the home of British motorsport at Silverstone.
The circuit has been purpose-built for the occasion by race director and French racing driver David Terrien.
"Creating a track for 100 drivers at the same time has never been done, never been seen," Terrien said. "So it's very exciting."

How to watch on Disney+
Max vs 100 will be broadcast live on Disney+ in the U.K.
Comedian Mo Gilligan will front the coverage, which is set to include drone footage and live race data.
In the U.S., Max v 100 will also air on the ESPN App for Unlimited subscribers before a delayed ESPN2 broadcast later that day.
How does Max vs 100 work?
Qualifying for the race will be decided by a single flying lap from each of the drivers.
Verstappen will start from the back of the grid and will attempt to overtake every single one of the 100 drivers in front of him, but he will only have 30 laps to do so.
He will be able to communicate directly with his rivals, offering fans the opportunity insight into how the star's mind works.
Every driver he overtakes will be eliminated, meaning the field will decrease as the race plays out.
Another catch is that the drivers will each get the opportunity to have a fast lap with the help of a shortcut in the opening half of the race. Verstappen will get a shortcut of his own, but he won't be able to use it until half distance.
Every driver on the grid will have an identical go-kart which will have a sealed ballast for anyone under the minimum weight.
Who's taking part?
The full list of those taking part will be announced ahead of the event, but those who are confirmed include ultrarunner Arda Saatçi, basketball shooting phenomenon Chris "Lethal Shooter" Matthews and freestyle mountain biker Matt Jones.
They will share the grid with streamers TheGrefg, Caedrel and TheDonato, as well as content creators, personalities and fans invited from around the world.
Other competitors on the grid include Love Island UK 2019 winner Amber Gill, Scottish comedian Bash The Entertainer and social media star Josh Richards.
