The Oklahoma gymnastics team improved to an impressive 6-0 over the weekend with a dominant win over Auburn at home. Star freshman Maggie Nichols earned her third perfect 10 of the season with her floor routine, which cemented her as one of the top collegiate gymnasts in the country.
And while perfect routines are clearly nothing new for Nichols, she did have a special good luck charm during Saturday's meet. That would be her former national teammate and best pal Simone Biles. Yes, THAT Simone Biles.
The two have documented their longtime friendship on social media over the years and are always each other's biggest fans. Saturday was no different, as Biles joined Nichols and the Sooners during team warmups and cheered them on from the stands during the meet.
go bestfriend, that's my bestfriend

And in the ultimate display of friendship, Biles, who had committed to UCLA before turning pro, even rocked a Sooners shirt.
So great having Olympic champ @Simone_Biles cheering us on tonight! #Sooners pic.twitter.com/YSCMnoX0qW
