That's it then. We'll be back on Sunday for the second ODI. Short turnaround, but Bangladesh will want to make a better impression. Look forward to your company then.
Tahlia McGrath: Pretty happy for most parts. Had control, then Phoebe was clinical with the bat. Spoilt for choices with our bowling, want to experiment with a few things in the next couple of games. Litchfield plays with such freedom, has every shot in the book. Backs her ability. Trains incredibly hard. Has talent and work ethic.
Nigar Sultana: Didn't get partnerships, so we lost our way. Lot of positives. Habiba Pinky was aggressive, attacking. Whoever got the ball in hand bowled in the right areas. Should take these with us into the next game. We got to be cautious about playing against the new ball, can't lose so many wickets in the powerplay. Need to be calm and patient to get the control. Look forward to that in the next game.
Annabel Sutherland is the Player of the Match for her four-for.
7.30pm Australia far too good for Bangladesh in what was their first-ever ODI on Aussie soil. They crawled along with the bat to 166, a total that was perhaps at least a 100 short of challenging the hosts.
With the ball, however, we saw glimpses of spark. Habiba Islam is a promising quick, who picked up 2 for 36 on debut. Marufa was expensive, but is as talented as they come. Then their spinners bowled well, but didn't have the runs to defend.
If Bangladesh can find a way to bat better, they'll be a lot more competitive.
Australia's chase was steered without any of them breaking into a sweat. Phoebe Lichfield set the pulses racing with an industrious display of batting, Perry and Sutherland just cruised home once that foundation was laid.
Tahlia McGrath now has 9/9 as captain.
