Matthew Forde, Player of the Match: Yeah, for me, it was more about the win, you know. Getting over the line is always good, especially against this opposition. I have some good friends here as well. But, you know, it's always good to pick up two points at home and get our campaign underway. For me, you know, I texted Avin, our man left, and told him I wanted to do some extra work before the meeting. And I did some extra homework today and, you know, luckily for me, I was able to get the ball in the right areas. It did something up front early, and I was able to get a few early Powerplay wickets. So, you know, that's always good in terms of putting the opposition under pressure. So it was a really good feeling. For me, I want to see myself as a match-winner, whether it be with the ball, with the bat, or in the field. You know, I want to always have that impact on my team positively. So, you know, in whatever department, and being an all-rounder gives me that privilege, I'll be looking to cash in in all departments

What an incredible game of cricket despite the rain interruptions! We saw wickets galore; first it was Forde for ABF, and then Saint Lucia turned on the heat, ending up picking seven wickets and fighting their hearts out. What a nerve-wracking, rain-truncated affair! First, it was Forde who wreaked havoc with his swing and accuracy. Then came Shamar Springer and Joshua James, who picked up three and two wickets respectively. Kings held their nerve in the end and have won, not before collapsing massively along the way

James to Bishop, SIX, Pristine late cut! Pushes it wide of off, he reaches out and extends his hands, powerfully and gorgeously scythes it up and over backward point for a six and Kings secure their second win of the season. Saint Lucia Kings won by three wickets (DLS methods)
