16.1 full and straight, Kimber chips out to deep midwicket... where Sams pulls off a brilliant catch! Running in off the rope, diving forwards, and keeps control of the ball. Excellent catch, deemed clean by the third umpire, and Somerset have a sixth wicket 124/6

0.1 That's livened things up! Superb length from Willey, over the wicket, hitting the pitch hard, drawing a defensive stab at the rising ball across the right-hander's bows, a nibble through to the keeper for a first-ball duck! 0/1

11.2 attempts the glide down through deep third, what a sensational take from McManus! Smeed opened the face, looking for his fifty with a pacy deflection, but the keeper was so alert... diving for the top corner as if he'd read the movement of a penalty taker, and grabbing it down in his outstretched right hand! There's an umpire check to make sure he hasn't grounded the ball, but that's clean as a whistle. And that's an intervention that deserves to win on Finals Day... 74/4

1.1 makes room to leg, hacked high out to deep backward point! Goodness, this is the start Northants needed! Rew looking to be aggressive, but he can't find the placement to beat McManus in the deep. A well-judged low take and now the cat's among the pigeons! 6/2

2.5 Rew steps across his stumps, bowled behind his legs! That's the pressure of the scoreboard talking. Rew decided he needed to find the boundary, but he picked the wrong ball to take on like that. Down early into the sweep, Willey kept his length full with a bit of shape past the left-hander's pads, and splattered his stumps! 12/3

16.4 TKC holes out to backward point! Huge, huge moment! It's the overspin that does the trick for Harrison, rushing the attempted backfoot launch, and inducing a scuff to Procter, who finally has a positive hand in this contest! 104/6

15.3 holes out to long-off! Huge moment, skipper on skipper, as Willey aims full once more, inviting the launch through the line, but Gregory can't get enough meat through the stroke, and it plops into Sales' hands in the deep! 98/5

18.4 hacked high, hacked mightily... hacked... to deep midwicket! Huge moment again! Sams went for broke, out of the full length, and thought he'd got enough on it... but Harrison holds his nerve, judging the spinning ball as it plummets out of the sky, and swallows the chance! 121/8

17.3 simply stunning relay catch, and that's surely the game! Overton climbs through the full length with full beans, high and mighty, straight down the ground. Willey tracks back, dives out of play as he completes the grab, unleashes with his body horizontal to the ground, and after a series of checks from the third umpire, that is proven to be utter perfection! Zaib has to do his bit as well, staying alert at long-off, and diving forward to gather the looping lob back into play. That could have been the game-changing blow... and sure enough, it was! 111/7

20 splat! The only fitting ending! Meredith has a swing and his middle stump gets flattened! Good length, beats a desperate hack. Northants march on for a chance to complete a season in which they've been the tournament pace-setters! 126/9
