22.15pm Right, it's time for Northants to go and lift the trophy that has had their name on it all season! The fireworks go off, and the celebrations can begin!

Thanks for joining us, it's been a long old day, and seeing as you'll probably watching the football already, I'm going to do one. From Miller, Matt, Alan and the team, good night!

Time for some awards. The Player of the Year is Liam Livingstone, while the Player of the final is Ricardo Vasconcelos

"I've struggled to get the big score, so to get it in the final is amazing. Over the moon. The pitch played pretty similarly, we didn't adapt quick enough in the first innings. The trophy means more than anything."

James Vince: "Congratulations to Northants, deserved winners in the end. We were sloppy in the field, could have saved 15-20 runs, but the way Sonny bowled, we were happy with 170. Daws got it back, the run-out changed momentum again. We felt conditions got better, but in a final you don't want 11-12 for the guys coming in. We've had a number of contributions, a real squad effort. Proud of the guys."

David Willey: "Great support today, monumental effort... delighted. Daws wrestled some momentum, but the mongrels' composure swung it back, and Sando did what Sando does. Massive wicket from Calv. Support from back-room staff. This is for everyone."

10pm What an extraordinary game. That run-out of Dawson turned everything on its head, just as Vasconcelos' dismissal for 88 had scuppered Northants' innings earlier in the day. It's nearly time for some presentations.

Darren Lehmann: "We left a full out there, Baker bowled fast and straight but we kept missing them. Had to start well in the powerplay, and David got early wickets for us, Harrison's legspin was excellent. Put pressure back on the batters. I'm so proud of the club ... little club, little budget, we play big."

9.50pm Incredible final! That swung in every direction all evening long, but in the end, Northants' refusal to be beaten was the decisive factor. A penny for Baker's thoughts, he did his part with 5 for 21, as did Joe Weatherley, with a Finals Day record haul of 163 runs for once out. But Willey's immense team does the business in style!

Willey dropped to his knees at long-on before joining the pile-on. Here he is: "Delighted for everyone involved. Credit to the boys, we've won in different ways, great belief. I stayed calm, we felt if we could get wickets at the back end. Procter's got that grit... stood up twice today. I'll celebrate with some sparkling water, and get on ebay for some new shoes."

Chris Lynn: "When you think you've had enough beers, take more beers! We didn't bat 40 overs for the whole day, but we've managed to scrape through for the title. So rapped for the boys."

Manoj: "Baker got his own treatment back. What a finish and to class defending. Deserved to win. Bowlers win you championships proves one more time !!"

Sanderson to Baker, OUT, splinters the stumps, Northants land their third title in stunning style! Full, aggressive, demanding that Baker goes for broke. He had no answer, and as the fireworks go off, the tournament's best team becomes its (joint-) most successful team!

Sanderson to Weatherley, OUT, Willey has gonads of steel! An absolutely massive swing for the hills from Weatherley, high and hard through the length ball! He can't connect cleanly enough, but it's so, so high... down towards long-on, where there is simply only one man for the job. The skipper steadies himself, and gathers the crucial wicket!

JJ Weatherley c Willey b Sanderson 75 (53b 9x4 2x6) SR: 141.5

Weatherley's highest and second-highest T20 scores both today!! If he swaps those, Hampshire probably win...

Procter to Wood, no run, stunning from Procter! Full, swinging, into the pads. No way to launch that. No run, obviously. Weatherley will need 15 for the title!

Out comes Wood, with the right to swing for the bleachers! Weatherley has to be on strike for the final over, so it matters not here...

Procter to Currie, OUT, attempts the reverse-scoop, Procter nails that length again! Well, goodness. His predictability caused a 28-run over this morning. It's now dragging Northants back into this contest! Back goes the off stump, and now Hampshire have an issue

SW Currie b Procter 2 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100

Procter to Currie, 2 runs, full and pushed into the covers, they rush back for the second

Three huge balls now. Weatherley at the wrong end for now, as Currie arrives

Rog K: "In Joe we trust. We have to really."

Procter to Fuller, OUT, nails his length, pings off stump! What nerve from Procter, Fuller knew exactly what was coming, and it came anyway. Length ball, angled in, beating a thrash for the hills, and straight into the top of off!

JK Fuller b Procter 3 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 60
