Kusal Mendis is the player of the Match but his unbeaten 84 off 47 balls.
"We bowled really well today in the middle period," Mendis says. The fielding was better too, and the batting was excellent. Kamindu batted really well after the Powerplay. He played his natural game, and I did too. We did really well in all three departments." Says they will need to adapt to the changing formats, but feels confident they'll do it.
Sahibzada Farhan is the player of the series, which is unsurprising. Three successive half-centuries. He has been immense for Pakistan, and his captaincy has got off to a very auspicious start.
"We posted excellent targets in the first two matches, but today we lost top-order wickets, so I tried to take the game deep. You can't determine that someone has failed after just one game."
This is the highest tally by a Pakistani in a three-match series. "I try to be consistent," Farhan says. Well, he certainly did that, and now he's off to pick up the series trophy, and that's it from us here. See you for the ODI tri-series.
SK Pamiri: "Nafay looks a non-keeper who has been asked to keep wicket becuase the dedicated wicketkeeper got retired hurt during the match. The way PCB humiliated M. Rizwan, this is karma at its worst."
