Have you tried today's MATCH-UP game yet? Think nicknames, ages, and colours.
5:12pm A comfortable win for Amsterdam eventually. Glasgow gave them a scare at the start of the chase but Bracewell and Campher hung in for a 47-run partnership to make it an easy passage. Smiles galore in the Amsterdam camp as they sit pretty on second with 13 points and an NRR of 1.037. A complete performance from Amsterdam. Glasgow will look back at their campaign with plenty of what-ifs. Today, too, they had a platform to launch but ended up losing 8 for 22, and a chase of 127 was never going to be beyond a powerful Amsterdam line-up.
George Munsey, Glasgow captain: "Tough result again. Thought we had a platform to kick-on. They bowled well and kept us to a below-par score. Difficult to be honest. We were trying to target the right ends with the breeze. Tried to be positive and get as many runs as we could. Thought the boys created chances. Could have been four or five down in the powerplay. Proud of the fight we showed despite the below-par score. Great to see ETPL happening. Gread platform for the local lads to rub shoulders with the greats. We have had a lot of individual performances that showed what we can do. Ollie had a fantastic tournament. Looking forward to see how he develop."
David Payne, Player of the Match: "Tried to swing that new ball. Today it swung a bit, hit the right areas. Built my momentum as the competition went on. Told Allen after the game that I had a few demons in my mind from the IPL. I was praying that Livingstone would get out. We'll regroup, rest and get a training session on Friday and see how we turn up on Saturday."
Scott Edwards, Amsterdam captain: "Played some real good cricket throughout the second leg. Still a couple of things we can fix up. There have been times where we haven't been good. But we fought back, couple of spinners getting a few maidens. Spin strength something we spoke about. A bit of luxury in these windy conditions with big-small side. [Campher] His knowledge has been awesome, he's played different roles for us. He has been brilliant. [Two games in two days possibly] Nice to have a couple of days off. Will watch the games tomorrow and come up with plans."
Right then. Amsterdam are all but through to the playoffs. But we still don't know the line-ups. It will be confirmed only tomorrow. So do make sure that you join us nice and early for the double-header. On behalf of our scorers and Himanshu, ciao and take care!
Amsterdam need just six, here's Leask
