3.40pm That's all we have for this game then, the second of the ETPL. There's some Test cricket going on too, after the draw in Colombo. England are four down at lunch at Lord's. And if you're tuning in from India, you can watch some highlights of the ETPL here. That's all we have from this one, it's goodbye from me, Vishal Dikshit, and Abhijato. Ciao!
Maxwell is the Player of the Match: Couldn't be any better, really proud of the work we did in the build up to get things started. We were really good with the ball and adapted well with the bat. We probably lost one or two wickets too many at the start, so had to bat a little differently and took it slightly easy against the spinners and went for it in the back end. Chapman is such a great timer of the ball and he showed that today. Adair is outstanding, he's one of our initial signings. Certainly one of those guys we were very happy to get early and it's showing. I was a little bit nervous with the rain at the start but good to get the game in.
3.28pm So Maxwell gets first points with an opening win and leaves Dublin Guardians with lots to think about for Ashwin, Dravid and Vikram Rathour. Guardians never got going in the chase as the Wolves fast bowlers bowled with the perfect lengths on this pitch, even though the sun had come out after rain delayed the start of the game. The short of length deliveries troubled the Guardians' top six, left them reeling on 36 for 6 and the match was pretty much over then. Credit to them for not getting bowled out though, as Dockrell, Ashwin, Wood and Hollard showed it wasn't that bad to bat on.
Here's R Ashwin: I thought there were pockets of good cricket we played, not the ideal start with the bat in the powerplay. A lot of guys are excited so we'll look to get that feeling going. About 170-175 was par so we gave some extra. 175 was definitely chaseable as you saw the conditions changed. If we had a better powerplay we would have been better placed. Dockrell is extremely experienced and he was a bit unlucky too.

It's nice and sunny for the next game, by the way
I hope we either see a wicket or some boundaries now. Jordan's last over now

Can they get the last wicket or will Guardians get a little more NRR boost?

Shadow-Shell: "Assuming next match won't start in 5 minutes" Looks like there's a delay
