That wraps up all the action from Chattogram today. Thank you for tuning in and staying with us. See you soon, sayonara!

Ritam: "What do you mean by pin drop silence? Are there enough people to make noise? " It's an absolute houseful here, Ritam. There are even hundreds of fans lined up along the flyover behind the stadium, cheering the teams on from the very first ball.

Salman Rahman: "The game was lost in the over 15 through 19. Took it too slow. The flurries and tries came only in the very last over. Too little too late. They were playing like they were 9 down. "

Mitchell Marsh: "[Two matches for you, two wins] Yep, it's been great. Obviously, we were really keen to win this series, and to wrap it up after two games is really pleasing for our side. [2021] I think it was 4-1 last time, and the one win we had was very lucky. So now it's obviously nice to win, but there's still one more game to go for us. The wicket today was obviously a lot better, but I'm really happy for Renny. Especially that partnership with TD was fantastic - the way they sort of got us out of a reasonably tricky position, then went through the gears and got us to a really competitive total. [Hardie] Yeah, he was good. It's always nice when those moves come off, but I think all the bowlers, the way they sort of worked through their sequences and stayed calm under pressure, especially towards the back end, did well. Nathan Ellis' last two overs were really game-changing for us, and we're lucky to have guys like him with his experience in the group. So, yeah, rapt for the team, and it's nice to get a series win over here. [Finish the series on a high] Yeah, on the whole, for the white-ball groups, it's been a reasonably tough tour. Coming to these places with a fairly inexperienced side always provides you with different challenges and experiences. So, yeah, we are really keen to finish off with a win before everyone gets home."

Player of the Match, Matt Renshaw: "I think it was just understanding the way that I wanted to play, trusting that, and fortunately, I got the rewards today. I think it's just one of those things with T20. We obviously got a good score, and they came out pretty well and hard. The way they played allowed them to do what they did at the start. [Tim David] He's obviously got his strengths, so we were using our strengths at the same time and trying to just do that for as long as we could. Well, after the first game you think that, and then they come out and score 65 [72]strong in the powerplay. It got a bit nervous after that, but it felt like with our innings, the longer we batted, the harder it got to hit the ball hard."

Towhid Hridoy: "[The chase was on] We played really good cricket, but there are a couple of areas we need to develop. Those who are set need to carry on a little bit more for the team. [Emon and Saif] Whenever they get set, they need to play bigger innings. But we have to chase this kind of match, otherwise we face disappointment. [Come back stronger] We will overcome, Inshallah."

5:40 pm Australia have wrapped up the series 2-0 with a game to spare, courtesy of a brilliant all-round performance from the visitors. Chasing a big target, the home team's openers gave them a blazing start, scoring 48 runs in just 3.3 overs and sending the ball flying in front of a packed Chattogram crowd. The opening stand was broken when Tanzid chipped a return catch to the bowler, but Soumya kept the momentum going. The batters specifically targeted Spencer Johnson, taking 39 runs off his two overs to power Bangladesh to 72 runs in the powerplay, their highest-ever powerplay score against Australia in T20Is. However, Zampa struck immediately after the field restrictions were lifted, removing a dangerous-looking Soumya. Emon's explosive cameo of 36 off 22 balls then came to an end when he was caught by Marsh at cover. Losing both set batters, Emon and Saif, in successive overs triggered a massive draught in the scoreboard. Saif, who scored 42 off 33 balls, failed to capitalize on his start and slowed down considerably in the middle overs. From a position of strength, Bangladesh completely lost their way in front of the home crowd, losing their composure and letting the required run rate soar as dot balls piled up. Hridoy was the final hope for the hosts, but the scoreboard pressure proved too immense even for him. In the end, Bangladesh's poor fielding from the first innings came back to haunt them, and a batting unit that failed to find any consistent rhythm after the powerplay sealed their fate. Hardie was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets, despite being a touch expensive, while Ellis, Renshaw, Zampa and Davies all claimed a wicket apiece.

zayan: "Shamim and Saqlain cost us the game, but what a performance by Bangladesh"

Nirav: "that 12 extra dot balls played by BD team cost's them match"

Australia won by 7 runs

Hardie to Towhid Hridoy, OUT, Pin-drop silence here in Shagorika as Hridoy gets caught out at widish long on! Hardie goes for the fuller length channel, pace off ball and Hridoy attempts to hoick it across the line. The bat face rotates after striking the ball, connects the inside part of the bat and David comes around to take a comfortable catch near the boundary area. Handshakes all around, Bangladesh's stand-in skipper looks devastated.
