That's it from us today. Hope you all enjoyed our coverage. Come back tomorrow for more live action. Good night and take care!
Hermann is the Player of the Match: "Feeling lot of things. Happy to contribute to team. I had no idea I got to hundred. Was blank at that moment. I have been given a lot of freedom because of our long batting line-up and I am enjoying that. I am just trying to get as many runs as possible. Playing in an environment like this, with so much pressure, grateful to the management."
Markram: "Very happy. Great game of cricket ultimately, obviously nice to be on the winning side. I was nervous, boys put in the yards with the execution. It doesn't get more high pressure. Power-packed lineup for Cape Town, Baartman bowled well. We thought of hitting the wicket hard and he executed that well in the middle. Hermann's knock is fantastic. I was chatting to him and he doesn't know what happened today. He is so good to watch, he picked his bowlers and managed to take them down."
Pollard: "I am enjoying cricket. I have seen a lot, played lot of cricket. For me it's about creating a culture. Three games on the bounce, laying that foundation, they (openers) came out and did a fantastic job, lost a couple of wickets in the middle, overall, its a good game of cricket., Hermann and Malan played well. (on his bowling) I haven't bowled for 6-8 months, what's the worst that could have happened, gone for 36 runs but they were already going nuts. For us it was about seizing moments. I thought it was a par total. Was very confident with Connor, and Sam was promoted up the order to negate left-arm spin. Yes we ended up second best but there are some good signs going forward."
9.11pm: SEC win the last-over thriller - their first victory of the season - by four runs, courtesy Hermann's unbeaten hundred and Baartman's three wickets and a fabulous final over to defend 14 runs. Chasing 203, opener Rickelton hit a swift fifty, but Cape Town lost four quick wickets in the middle. However, Curran and Pollard's cameos kept them in the game till the very end but it wasn't enough to get two points.
