Time to wrap things up from me, Rvel Zahid, saying goodbye and goodnight on behalf of Binoy George. The second game is about to get underway and Rashad has already fired up the comms so enjoy the MLC action on this beautiful day!
Marcus Stoinis, Seattle Orcas Captain: There'll be some things to look at there, obviously, but at the halfway point, we were thinking we could chase that. We've batted really well throughout the tournament so far, and it just shows that if you lose early wickets and don't get off to the start you want, which happens, then you're chasing your tail. Yeah, look, we thought it was going to be something where you lower your expectations for that powerplay. You're still obviously looking to score, but the fact that we lost wickets and weren't getting off to the start we wanted meant we were behind for pretty much that whole game. Obviously, Sunil was always going to be tough to face on that, and they bowled well on it. It was probably just about holding some wickets in our shed and giving ourselves a chance. Look, I get pretty disappointed with it, to be honest. I think we've played well for two out of the three games. Today was an off game with the bat, but I'm really proud of how the team's batting. I think having two scores well above 200 is a good sign for us. And with the ball, we've actually got better each game. It's just about putting those together in the same game, I think, going forward.
LAKR were phenomenal all the way; getting better with each game; they are on a mission. It's almost unrecognizable if we compare them with their last campaign given the way they started off this season. The big guns from the Caribbean are in red-hot form. Von Schalkwyk picks up wickets at will, Narine is so fine, le Roux kept it tight, and then Russell, the muscle, looks fitter, more agile, and in better shape this season, churning out wickets at will. Knight Riders got a decent total with plenty of handy contributions from the top and middle order. They've got a strong squad with all bases covered. Orcas bowled well at the death and managed to pull things back with both Singhs leading the way. They folded with the bat with many soft dismissals and a chaotic stab at the chase. There was no innings of substance, and as a result they have been rocked by a big defeat.
