A convincing win for MI Emirates - their second in a row against Dubai Capitals. They now have an opportunity to make it to the final through an easier route. Today, they ticked all the boxes, and we saw a huge gulf between the two sides. The spinners spun a web around the Capitals and held up their end of the bargain but with a small total to defend, they were always playing catch-up. Muhammad Waseem provided the perfect start, Andre Fletcher - the spaceman- spiced things up, and then Tom Banton and Kieron Pollard ensured there were no hiccups while chasing an untaxing total. Earlier, the Emirates bowlers were superb in tandem. Even without Rashid Khan, they showed plenty of depth in their squad and quality in their lineup. They made scoring tough and restricted the Capitals to a below-par total. Capitals now have time to reflect and make amends before the all-important playoffs. Thanks for tuning in and it's time for me, Rvel Zahid, to say goodbye on behalf of my teammates.
AM Ghazanfar, Player of the Match: Went with the same confidence and stuck to my plan. For a finger bowler it's hard to execute the variations but there is a lot of work behind the scenes and that helps deliver the results (on caught and bowl) thought I might get slammed for a six, but I stuck with my best ball and got a caught and bowl opportunity
