5:30pm Right. That will be that from us for this game. But in the ILT20, the action does not stop. In about half an hour's time, the Desert Vipers will take on the Sharjah Warriors. Do join us for that game too. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of everyone here. Goodbye, and take care!
5:18pm Well, a very one-sided game that the Giants won comfortably. They set the tone with the ball and with the bat, their captain showed exactly why he is rated so highly. On a pitch where almost everyone struggled, he shone with a 44-ball 65, which included four fours and four majestic sixes. Pope scratched around for 18, with Hetmyer applying the finishing touches with a brisk cameo.
Plenty to ponder for the Knight Riders, though. This is now the second time their batters have not scored enough and that is something they will have to rectify moving forward. Narine's decision to delay his arrival at the bowling crease was also perplexing, although it could be argued that the Knight Riders had lost the game a long time before that. Nevertheless, with the games coming thick and fast, the Knight Riders will have a chance to redeem themselves very soon.
The Giants need just eight runs for victory. Can they finish it off in this over?
END OF OVER:14 | 6 Runs | GG: 107/4 (8 runs required from 36 balls, RR: 7.64, RRR: 1.33)

- Akeal Hosein3-0-32-1
