6.30pm In a game that produce 470 runs in total, it's the Jaffna Kings that have come away victors! And with it secured a place in Saturday's final. For Galle they will have a second bite at the cherry in a couple of days in the second Qualifier. This was a game decided by the bat, as Kamil Mishara's century and fifties from Khawaja Nafay and Towhid Hridoy trumped solid hands from Sam Harper, Charith Asalanka, Chamika Karunaratne and Dasun Shanaka. And even in the midst off all that big hitting it was a moment of brilliance in the field that shifted the tide at the death, as Bhanuka Rajapaksa took two outstanding catches to remove Chamika and Nawaz - the former bringing to an end a formidable stand of 63 from 27 between Chamika and Shanaka. Had that partnership continued for few more overs, we could have been looking for a completely different result. But as it stands, it's the Kings that stood tall.
